Instructors are New Mexico certified teachers.

Join our Fall Early Childhood Outdoors (ECHO) Program! Children will enjoy a variety of short instruction topics and nature walks. Activities will take place in the classroom, in the beautiful observation room, and on the Nature Center grounds. Outside games and activities take place all through the bosque.

Please be prompt.
Classes will meet in the new Nature Center Education Building.

Early Childhood Outdoors ("ECHO") for children ages 3-5 with their Grown–up.
(Adult must attend.)
NOTE: Registration is now open!
Participating children $18 per child per class ($15 for Friends of the Rio Grande Nature Center).

Thursday morning classes 10:00-11:30

Please note: Classes will be held regardless of weather.

Refund Policy:

1. Refunds will be given if the participant notifies the RGNC five (5) days before class begins.
2. Transfers from one class to another need to be made five (5) days before class begins.
3. If a last minute cancellation has to be made, please find a child who can attend in your child's absence. No refunds can be given unless notified five (5) days before class. If the new child does not have a waiver on file, fill one out at the time of the class.
4. If enrollment is too low, the instructor will cancel five (5) days before the class begins and a refund will be given.
5. Refunds will be given by check. Please allow at least 2-3 weeks after the scheduled date of the class. No refunds can be given after the five day cut off.

A 2012 liability waiver is required.
Waivers must be returned by mail, delivered to the Nature Center, or faxed to 505-344-4505 before the first day of class.
